A DECADE OF BOLD ACTION!
Our goal is to make Otley a carbon-zero, sustainable and fair town by the 2030s, and to ensure that this transition is made in a just and democratic way, involving all areas of our local community.
Throughout 2025 we will be hosting bi-monthly talks that will look at key issues related to climate change, nature recovery, and social justice.
TALK 2: WHAT SHOULD WE EAT TO SAVE THE WORLD?
Saturday 14th June, 2-4pm, Otley Methodist Church
The second talk will be presented by Mike Daws and Steve Peel from Climate Action Ilkley. The number of vegans has grown rapidly. One of the main reasons environmental, but do we all need to stop eating meat to save the world?
